John Calvin Byrd III, founder of Byrd Publicity, is a seasoned Los Angeles publicist. Gaining experience at several companies including, 20th Television, Fox Searchlight, Paramount Domestic Television, Rodney Jerkins' Music Mogul, 828 Entertainment and Pepperdine University, Byrd fine tuned his ability to reach targeted demographics using various mediums.
In late 2009, Byrd founded the Sickly Cat Network in an attempt to distribute organic content that is free of poisonous corporate and political influence. John Calvin Doyle has been featured in comedic and dramatic roles in theatre, film, television and national commercials. He is an established actor,with a wide variety of experience. Most recently, John worked on "Forbidden Love" starring Andrew McCarthy. In addition, John recently contributed to the well known "Literary Visions Project" as well as writing and directing "The Falsettoes", a comedy directed by John Calvin Doyle. As a new actor to the industry he quickly booked a national Nike commercial, and was cast in the HBO series "Treme" as the role of Bray. He writes music and is co-owner of New Orleans based clothing line for teenagers and young adults called "Eros."
